Zentangle
Instructor: CRISTIE CAMPO
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Almost anyone can use it to create beautiful images with little to no previous training. It increases focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well being. It offers a quick way to de stress from life and it does not require any particular skills other than uniform patterns and organization. Many artists also use the Zentangle method to develop and discover patterns and designs to apply to their regular medium, such as quilting or jewelry. Creating a Zentangle tile can also provide crosstraining idea
inspiration even when applied to quite different fields such as writing or mathematics. Within its "elegance of limits" Zentangle's pattern vocabulary draws from a rich well of our human experience and provides a simple, accessible method to allow personal creativity to flow.

Bent Wire Sculpture
Instructor: VALERY GUIGNON
Guignon We will use bendable wire to create an armature of your vision and work the wire around to flesh out the shape. Colored wire can be added on to accentuate features. I start with the human figure but any shape is workable. By adding on to the figure your piece will come alive with expressed imagination. Several figures combined will make a strong statement. We can work with animal shapes as well.
Materials list. Roll of rebar tie wire 16 gauge and any thin wire of all or any colors – 16 – 24 gauge – try bending it and see if it feels right or order from this site. http://www.artisticwire.com/. Piece of drift wood for a base. Gloves, apron, wire cutters and needle nosed pliers. Anything you want to weave into your sculpture (beads, bits of drift wood, feathers – use your imagination) Teacher will bring rebar wire and supplies as well.
