LYNN ARMSTRONG
Lynn Wilkes Armstrong is a Dallas native and a 1977 graduate
of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
in 1977. She received her BFA from the University of Texas at Austin in
1981 with a concentration in ceramics and painting. In addition to teaching
at CAC, she teaches ceramics to children and adults at Studio Arts and produces
hand built ceramics at her home studio.

Michael Blackwell
Michael Blackwell is a commercial and fine art photographer. His work is represented by WallKandy inLA and Dallas. Michael is a member of the National Press Photographers Association, the Texas Photographic Society and the Association of Texas Photographic Instructors. Named “Best in Dallas” by the Observer magazine and awarded a Katie by the Dallas Press Club for Best Photographic Portfolio. His work includes architectural, aerial, advertising, commercial, catalog, documentary, event, editorial, fine art, photojournalism, and portraiture photography.

TOMAS BUSTOS
Tomas Bustos has great passion for his art. Accomplished in clay,
stone and wood carving, Tomas’ 30 years professional experience has made him
one of the area’s leading sculptors in the fields of fine and decorative arts.
His work is in many private and public collections. His most recent public
commission is on display at Our House at Baylor Medical Center.

GLO COALSON
Glo Coalson has been a professional clay artist for nearly
30 years. Her work is sold through numerous galleries across the US.
She also works with bronze and is an internationally known illustrator
of children’s literature. In 2003, Glo was sponsored by CIVITAS as a
visiting artist to the Ukraine.

SHEILA CUNNINGHAM
Sheila Cunningham is an award winning fine art photographer
whose Polaroid Transfers and Artist Books are exhibited in
solo and national juried shows. Her artwork, Project Designs
and articles have been widely published in books and national
magazines. As a Creative Uses Consultant for Polaroid she
teaches Polaroid Transfer and Book Structures workshops nationally
through prestigious universities and fine art centers, including
CAC in Dallas. Cunningham’s works are in many private collections.

KATHLEEN DELLO STRITTO
Kathleen Dello Stritto teaches painting in oil, acrylic,
watercolor and pastel. She is past president and a signature
member of the Pastel Society of the Southwest and a member
of the Texas Visual Artist Association. Kathleen’s most
recent exhibition was at the Cerulean Gallery in Dallas.
She has exhibited all over the United States and regularly
conducts a summer workshop in New Mexico.

KATRINA DORAN
Katrina Doran focuses her attention and work on mosaics.
Her background includes a variety of professions from psychology
to interior decorating and from award-winning entertainment to
costume designs. She and her husband, Denny Doran, live and work
at Doran Studio, a shard-encrusted space in the Trinity Design
District near Downtown Dallas, TX. Katrina is a member of the
Society of American Mosaic Artists and the Texas Sculpture Association.

Karen Gilboux has been creating beautiful mosaics for over 13 years.
Her North Dallas Studio, Gilboux Mosaic Studio – Art & Design,
produces custom, contemporary mosaic art for residential,
commercial, gallery, public and architectural environments.
She is dedicated to working with clients to produce site
specific mosaics utilizing exceptional materials. These
materials include handmade and commercially produced glass
and glass tile, ceramic, stone and metal. Her work can be

VALERY GUIGNON
Valery Guignon is a lifetime self-supporting artist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial
Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Since then she has worked in fiber, clay and metal. She
lived in Mendocino County for 16 years, housing and teaching at the art center for several of those
years. Currently she lives in Dallas, TX where she is an award winning sculptor and on the board of
directors of the Texas Sculpture Association.

REBECCA ROMANEK JOHNSON
Rebecca Romanek Johnson has been creating art for over 20 years. She strives for
dramatic combinations of form, materials and spirit. She has received many
honors and awards for her work, and has helped build CAC’s reputation as a
regional center for warm glass. She has served as an officer and board member
of the Texas Sculpture Association, a member of the Dallas Visual Art Center,
chairperson of the White Rock Lake Artists Studio Tour, and as a board member
and president of the Creative Arts Center. She has exhibited nationally and her

SONIA KING
Sonia King is an internationally known mosaic artist whose
award-winning work is represented in private, public and corporate
collections. Sonia is the author of Mosaic Techniques & Traditions,
from Sterling Publishing, and is currently working on a book on
advanced mosaics. She is a past president of the American Mosaic
Artists Society and a director of the Associazione Interniazionale
Mosaicisti Contemporanei. She has been featured HGTV’s “Modern Masters”,
HDTV’s “The Art of Living”, and most recently in American Lifestyles Magazine.
When she is not teaching at CAC she is traveling the world giving lectures

DAVE KRAMER
Dave Kramer has moved from freelance illustration into the
world of fine art and portraiture. Using traditional, Dave paints in
a romantic realism style. Dave has been teaching for eight years
and studied art at Indiana University. He has received awards
from the Dallas Society of Artists, Artist Magazine and New York
Society of Illustrators. He has volunteered with many nonprofit arts
organizations over the years, including the Decorative Artisans Guild
and the Dallas Society of Illustrators.

VIRGINIA LINDSAY
Virginia Lindsay began working in glass in the early 1990s.
She works out of her private studio and has clients both locally and
internationally. She has created pieces to sell to the trade as well
as local clientele, including 4510, Cantoni, the Dallas Museum of Art
Gift Shop, Smink and Vertu. Virginia has also completed many private
commissions and installations.

KEITH LIVINGSTON
Keith Livingston is diverse in his approach and choices
of material. He enjoys working in contemporary forms when sculpting
in wood, steel, cast metals and clay. But he is also skilled as a
representational sculpture / jeweler. His work has been shown in
the Dallas area and in galleries in the northeast. He is also a
former president of the Texas Sculpture Association.

LIZ LONDON
Liz London has chosen to let her artistic direction be
part of a life process or journey rather than a
destination. In the process of continuing a formal
education to earn a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology
with a focus in Art Therapy, when Liz became disabled.
As an artist, she blends levels of paint with mixed
media, found objects, photography and paper from
travels, daily life and interpersonal experiences. She
has exhibited at The Women’s Museum, The Cerulean

Kathy Loucas
Kathy Loucas works with both children and adults dividing
her time between CAC and The Hockaday School in the summer
and Richardson’s Prairie Creek Elementary School’s afterschool
art program. She devotes herself to hand-building fine art
ceramic pieces and has also conducted clay classes and workshops
at the Art Institute of McKinney and at Cottonwood Art Festival .

Cheryl Lucas, a lifetime potter, discovered Precious Metal Clay
(PMC) in 2001. She currently teaches PMC nationally and
internationally. Her work is in many collections throughout
the U.S. and Mexico. Cheryl is a certified Level 3 Instructor
with the PMC Connection and is also a certified artisan with
both the PMC Guild and Art Clay World.

CAROLINE SHAW OMETZ
Caroline Shaw Ometz has studied art at SMU, the University
of Dallas and UTD and has taught art for 20 years. Her expertise is
in drawing and perception, the human form, design and composition,
color theory, pastels, water-soluable oils, acrylics and collage.
She won a scholarship to study at the internally known Vermont Studios
and has been in juried shows locally and internationally, including
the “After 9/11” touring exhibit, the MAC Trinity Show, the Neruda
Show and the International Beaux Art Exhibition. Caroline’s work has
been published in Dallas/Ft Worth House & Garden, Better Homes
and Garden and American Artist Magazine and can be found in private
collections in the U.S., France and Germany. She has had a studio
at the Continental Gin Building in Deep Ellum for eight years.

DRUCILLA PEREZ-TUBENS
Drucilla (Drew) Perez-Tubens has worked in glass for more than
10 years beginning with hot glass, fusing and bead making. She has
concentrated on mosaic and stain-glass mosaic for the last four and years.
A member of the Society of the American Mosaic Artists, she has been
accepted into juried exhibits across the United States. Her work is held

ROBERT MOORE began as a figurative/still life painter before medieval manuscripts inspired his paintings which mixed filigree, texture, abstraction and realism. He's exhibited in museums, universities, art centers, and galleries in Texas and major U.S. cities. By 2002, a new style emerged - whimsical narrative paintings, objects, books, and theatre - culminating in a show at Swing Space in Lower Manhattan, with a performance within the installation. ROSANNE TAYLOR was drawn to the Creative Arts Center after her children left for college and she wanted an artistic outlet. She started with an interest in metal sculpting and quickly found her way to fused glass where she developed a passion for the medium.
