Overview
CAC offers both Live Model Labs and Studio Time. These blocks of time enable students to hone and apply their artistic skills at our facility outside normal class times. The instructor will arrange these times with each class at the beginning of each session. Students may receive a 3-hour block of “Studio Time” at no charge each week of the session they are registered. Open studio varies by department and is available to registered students only, and only when no classes are scheduled. If a member is not currently enrolled in a class then separate registration and payment are required for Studio Time. Live Model labs always have a charge associated with them.

Definition

Live Drop-In Model Lab:
A live model will be provided for each 3 hour lab. Each pose lasts approximately 1 to 4 weeks and labs are held on an on-going basis.

Live model labs do not occur during the month of July and holiday weekends.

Studio Time:
A working space within the CAC facility will be provided for small groups for a 3 hour block of time for students currently enrolled.

Guidelines

• Both the Live Model Labs and Studio Time will be made available at pre-scheduled times and only at the discretion of the instructors and the CAC office.
• A facilitator will manage and be responsible for opening and closing the studio or lab, taking roll and collecting payment from each student at the start of each Live Model Lab or Studio Time.
• The facilitator is not responsible for instruction.
  
• Class minimums must be met.
• Three-hour blocks of time will be made available based on student demand and facilitator availability.
• Studio time is not automatically given for each class. It depends upon the course and instructors availability. Please check course schedule. In addition, it cannot be transferred to another session, class or instructor.

Payment can be in the form of cash, credit card or pre-purchased coupons.

• Per each 3-Hour Live Model Lab $15 for Members/$20 for Non-Members
• Per each 3-Hour Block of Studio Time $15 (Available only to Members)

Ten coupons may be purchased at a discounted rate, in advance, for $125. A savings of $25 dollars if purchased separately.
